“We have imported enough number of CRA (corrosion resistant alloy) pipes for South Pars phase 13 oil wells in positions B and D and we are expecting to fully tap the wells,” said Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Mohammad Meshkinfam on Wednesday.
The Iranian officials made the remarks at a presser on the sidelines of the 23rd Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2018) in Tehran.
When he was asked what the problems of South Pars phase 11 would be after the US exit from the JCPOA, he asserted that all predictions and preparations have been made and Chinese company CNPCI in association with Iran’s Petro-Pars will continue the project.
The French Total Company is currently active in South Pars Oil and Gas Field phase 11. However, there are speculations about what will happen after the possible withdrawal of the company following Trump’s move to reinstate sanctions that were lifted under the 2015 nuclear agreement.
